Money doesn’t come with instructions. That’s why community organizations join together each year to promote financial education during Money Smart Month in April and through out the year.
During the 2018 Money Smart Month, 193 FREE classes were organized by volunteers and delivered to 4,443 kids and adults across the St. Louis region (a 70 % increase from 2017). Topics included money management, goal setting, saving for retirement, saving for college, buying your first home, getting out of debt, building credit, how to avoid identity theft, raising money smart kids and more!
You don’t need to wait until April to be “Money Smart.” Free classes and events will be added to the Money Smart St. Louis calendar every month. Please check the calendar frequently for new classes and fun events during Money Smart Month and through out the year.
Money Smart Month is organized by the Greater St. Louis Financial Education Collaborative in collaboration with United Way of Greater St. Louis, the St. Louis Regional Unbanked Task Force and over 100 non-profit and business organizations through out the St. Louis metro area.
