Introduction to Grant Research and Guidestar

Learn from librarian Lisa Thorp about the resources on offer at SLPL’s Grants & Foundation Center to help identify potential nonprofit grant opportunities, including Candid’s Foundation Directory grant search database. Thorp will also give an overview of Guidestar, Candid’s collection of nonprofit profiles that nonprofit organizations can “claim” and update to earn a seal of transparency and more importantly, paint a more accurate picture of the organization.
